CURE Childhood Cancer Events

While our primary focus is on funding research, an important part of our mission is continued support for families who have been touched by childhood cancer. Every year, we host a number of events to help create a strong support network for families of children battling cancer – all while raising money for CURE.

Our four annual events take time out to honor courageous mothers and special children alike.

A Tribute to Our Quiet Heroes
Join us for our 8th annual A Tribute to Our Quiet Heroes luncheon and help us honor mothers of children who have battled childhood cancer.
  Lauren’s Run
Take part in our annual 5K/2K, Lauren’s Run, hosted by CURE in memory of Lauren Zagoria and Lauren Kochman, both of whom lost their battle with cancer. Every year, thousands of runners and walkers participate in this special event.
CURE Childhood Cancer Annual Picnic
After the run, it’s a day of laughter and cheer for children fighting cancer and their families as well as Lauren’s Run participants at our CURE Childhood Cancer Annual Picnic. A great time for reconnecting, the picnic provides the opportunity for families to tap into our compassionate community to build their own support network.
CURE’s Kids Conquer Cancer One Day at a Time
Every September, our CURE’s Kids Conquer Cancer One Day at a Time initiative commemorates Childhood Cancer Awareness Month by honoring and remembering special children each and every day. By sharing their individual stories, we hope to inspire others to share our commitment to finding cures.

In addition to these events, CURE is fortunate to have the support of many many individuals, groups and organizations which raise money year after year through their own events in support of our mission.
