The 10th annual Believe Ball, presented by Delta Air Lines and Novelis, unfolded into a night of profound gratitude and celebration. Hosted by iconic comedian, Jeff Foxworthy, the evening started with a healthy dose of laughter as he regaled guests with his homespun humor. He set the stage perfectly for CURE’s CEO, Kristin Connor, who shared personal stories of children with cancer and what CURE is doing to address the shortfall in research funding.

A highlight of the night was the presentation of the Ragab Spirit of Hope Award to Bobby Aiken and Lendmark Financial Services, recognizing their exceptional leadership and unwavering commitment to funding pediatric cancer research through their annual Climb to CURE. Bobby inspired and challenged the audience to increase their own dedication to conquering childhood cancer.

The night became even more meaningful with the inspiring story shared by Matt and Courtney Norton, who selflessly opened up about their son, Ben’s cancer journey. That set the stage for a time of giving, and the guests did not disappoint. From the outset, the atmosphere was electric, and the generosity in the room quickly became apparent as bid paddles were raised – some a number of times, including an impromptu $3000 donated for a Foxworthy-signed case of Pabst Blue Ribbon!

The 10th annual Believe Ball raised an incredible $1.93 million for childhood cancer research. These funds will have a far-reaching and long-lasting impact, promising a brighter future for childhood cancer treatment.
