Burger 21 Buckhead Grand Opening Benefitting CURE
Burger 21®, an award-winning, “beyond the better burger” fast casual franchise, announced its second restaurant in Georgia will open in Buckhead on Monday, July 27 at 4279 Roswell Road NE, Suite 206 in Chastain Square Shopping Center. To celebrate, the restaurant will donate 10% of proceeds from the first week of business to CURE Atlanta. Additionally, the fast casual franchise will be giving away Burger 21 swag bags to the first 100 guests on opening day.

The X-Race to X-Out Childhood Cancer
“The Global Adventure Race for Change” is a nationwide scavenger hunt race where teams from around the country will race against each other at exactly the same time in their own communities.  They will complete wild challenges that test physical strength, mental skill, ability to find things in the community and the ability to have fun! A portion from their registration proceeds will benefit CURE. The race will be on Saturday, August 1st, from 3:00pm to 6:00pm. Standard Entry is $20, and Superhero Entry is $30.Click here to learn more and register for the race.

Sam Robb Memorial 5K
The Sam Robb Memorial 5k is held to honor the memory of Sam Robb and will benefit the CURE Childhood Cancer. The event will be held at Centennial High School and is sponsored by Centennial’s Cross Country team. Sam, a rising athlete in high school was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma in 2002 at the age of 15. Even while battling cancer, Sam never gave up his dreams of being an athlete. Unexpectedly, Sam lost his battle to Osteosarcoma on June 25, 2007.Click here to learn more and register.

CURE’s Kids Conquer Cancer One Day at a Time
September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and each day CURE shares the stories of children who have been diagnosed with cancer. These are stories of triumph. Stores of hope. Stories of loss. In addition, each child sets a goal to raise $1000 during the month, to dedicate towards research for pediatric cancer. Save the date now and check back each day in September to read their inspiring stories.

26th Annual Golf Classic

Sam Robb Memorial Golf Tournament 
This year’s event will be held at Legacy Golf at Lake Lanier. Tournament proceeds will support the Sam Robb fund’s mission to train young pediatric oncologists as they dedicate their days to improving patient care and research of childhood cancer. Additionally, Sam Robb Fund proceeds support CURE’s Open Arms Program, which provides families with much needed companionship, meals and hope while enduring their darkest days in the battle of childhood cancer. 2015 NARI Tour of Remodeled Homes
NARI Atlanta, the local chapter of the National Association of the Remodeling Industry, will present its Sixth Annual Tour of Remodeled Homes Saturday, Oct. 24, 2015 from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Eight private homes transformed by NARI Atlanta members throughout Atlanta’s northern suburbs will be open to the public, with the remodeling teams on hand to discuss each project and answer questions. Proceeds from the ticket sales will benefit CURE Childhood Cancer. The tour is self-guided and will be held rain or shine. Hearts for Heroes-Red Tie Gala
Presented by Pooler Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Bureau in the Savannah area, purchase tickets for the Hearts for Heroes event. Your ticket comes with dinner, drinks, dancing and an auction, all held at the National Museum of the Mighty Eighth Air Force Dinner. A portion of the net proceeds will benefit CURE Childhood Cancer!
