Nacho Average Taco For the months of May and June, Rep Pepper Taqueria is featuring a custom CURE taco. For each taco sold, $1 is donated to CURE! The CURE Nacho Average Taco features chargrilled calamari, crispy eggplant, tomato, onion, sorrel, and ginger pico. Visit their location in Toco Hills at 2149 Briarcliff Rd. or their soon-to-open location in Buckhead on Piedmont Rd. near the intersection of Peachtree and Piedmont. |

“Home By Dark” at Chukkar Farm Join CURE at a Songwriters Show with James Casto, Victoria Banks, and Billy Montana. A portion of the proceeds of this event will benefit CURE. The show takes place at Chukkar Farm & Polo Club (1140 Liberty Grove Road; Alpharetta, GA) on Saturday, June 1st at 8:00pm. Gates open at 6:30. Guests may rent tables or purchase General Admission tickets and set up chairs and blankets in the grass. Also, bring your own picnic to enjoy during the show. “ORANGE OUT” Morning View Swim Meet The 2nd annual ORANGE OUT to raise money for CURE will be at the Morningview Manta Rays Swim Meet against the Lansmoore Lancers. This fundraiser was started last year in honor of Abby Boone, Cole Carter, and Elena Tate who are all currently in treatment for leukemia or who are leukemia survivors. The meet takes place from 4:30pm – 11:30pm at the Morning View subdivision pool in Suwanee, GA. At the event, you may purchase orange t-shirts, baked goodies, a rubber duck raffle entry, and an orange manicure. |

Aquathon Around St. Catherine’s Island Jennifer Bew will circumnavigate St. Catherine’s Island, GA on July 13, 2013, beginning at 6:30 a.m. St. Catherine’s Island is a privately owned undeveloped Georgia barrier island, dedicated to conservation and research. An aquathon is part-run and part-swim. This is a solo circumnavigation which begins with a 12 mile beach run with 2 inlets to cross and a 13.5 mile open water swim in the Georgia Intercoastal Waterway, totally 25.5 miles. Jennifer is raising money for her efforts and CURE is honored to be the beneficiary. |
