Lauren’s Run and CURE Annual Picnic is quickly approaching and teams are still hard at work fundraising money in support of CURE Childhood Cancer. It is through the dedicated teams and donors that CURE is able to conquer childhood cancer in our lifetime through research and support of childhood cancer patients and their families.
Below is a highlight of the current top three fundraising teams for Lauren’s Run.
Purple Monkeys: $7065
This team is raising money in memory of Jack Williamson, a young boy who lost his battle with recurrent neuroblastoma.
Team Marco: $5910
A family working to raise money in honor of their nine-month old son Marco, who passed away two weeks after being diagnosed with a rare and aggressive type of brain cancer.
Team Jackson: $3788
In honor of being cancer free for three years, this team is raising money in for Jackson, who at nine months was diagnosed with stage four neuroblastoma, endured eight cycles of chemo and a fourteen-hour surgery to remove his tumor.
