The stories of children battling childhood cancer and the doctors who have dedicated their lives to finding a cure are nothing short of inspirational. They are stories not to be forgotten. That’s why we give friends, family members, neighbors and others the ability to create funds in the names of these special people. These funds commemorate the journeys of special individuals by creating a lasting legacy, all-the-while helping make a difference in the lives of children and families battling this horrific disease.
CURE has two types of named funds: Believe Funds and CURE Named Funds
With annual contributions totaling $10,000, we will establish a Believe Fund in the name of the child, medical professional or other champion you wish to honor. The minimum amount needed to establish a Believe Fund can come from any combination of gifts made over time from friends, family – anyone who wants to support the creation of your lasting tribute, or from the proceeds of a fundraising event. Donations to Believe Funds are applied at the direction of the person or family establishing the fund to either CURE’s research initiatives or to our patient and family services programs. A Believe Fund will continue year over year with minimum annual donations in the amount of $10,000.
CURE Named Funds:
With annual gift contributions totaling $25,000 or more, a CURE Named Fund may be established. As with the Believe Funds, a minimum amount needed to establish a CURE Named Fund can come from any combination of gifts made over time from friends, family – anyone who wants to support the creation of the fund – or from the proceeds of a fundraising event. CURE Named Funds can be directed to support a specific research project CURE has committed to fund at the recommendation of our Scientific Advisory Council and/or a specific patient and family support program. Named Funds will remain active with annual donations totaling $25,000 or more.
